dunno, only been told about the S2, but I suppose if the urS4 uses the same spacer plate arrangement as the ABY/ADU engine/gearbox configs I dont see why not.
Originally posted by Corey Would this be the same as on the urS4 fitted with the AAN engine and CBL 6 speed geabox?
I am looking at replacing the DMFW also.
Corey - there is some info here - don't know if it helps you though:
very surprized with internal engine parts:
car has 90000 km on it now,i removed the parts and most of the parts are like new.i used to see all depreciated materials in engines, audi surprized me.i was not expecting something like this ?!?!
Timucin - that is actually normal for the S2 and RS2 engines if they have had regular quality oil changes. These engines are superb and it is why it is so easy to upgrade them and maintain perfectly good reliability - although your plans for 500bhp and 8000rpm will of course be pushing the envelope and so special components will be needed.
By the way - you will need a serious look at different gear ratios when you complete this beast - especially with 8000rpm in mind - checkout my gearing calculator in the transmission section !
